IM Forums Be Good or Go Home!!

Oh My! Just finished watching the videos from Dean Holland’s course Starting with Marketing Module 5 and it was pretty cool!! He knows so much about Internet Marketing and is such a GREAT TEACHER!!! And he’s only like 25!! (SHH!!I think his birthday is coming up too!!)

Anyway, the module is called World Wide Winners! How would y’all like to be called a WINNER??? Especially a World Wide WINNER?? Hel-looo??(<—-me!! Winner!! woo-hoo!!)

One thing in this course that always stands out to me is build relationships! You wanna be a winner? Build relationships! You wanna make some money? Build relationships! You want a huge list?? Build relationships!!

Folks that go to forums and are blog hopping to other people’s blogs should not be selling or promoting their stuff! They should be going to forums, blogs and writing ezine articles to build the relationships that build the list that you can use to promote your awesome stuff!(and please don’t just promote any old thing to your valued list! Only good things you have used and recommend!)

For example, if you go to a forum and start selling things or starting trouble, no one is going to want to get to know you. Would you wanna hang out with a troublemaker? No? Me, either! And you definitely don’t want to damage your reputation in the forums. That would be bad! Especially because there is so much to gain by visiting and leaving a few good posts with some valuable info. Or even a sincere question or two. Great learning experience!

There are quite a few benefits to checking out the forums

For you newbies (like me) you can learn a ton about Internet Marketing from the big dogs. YAY!
Brand awareness (people knowing who you are)
Build relationships with new friends
Get a better reputation on the internet (Look at Dean! Great rep!!)
You can also get some free traffic to your blog or site that can also build the list that can make some money! YAY! (x2) (don’t PROMOTE it, let the folks come to you!!)

Ok, so new info, new friends, some traffic and folks knowing who you are is why you DON’T want to ruin your reputation by selling or spamming on the forums!! They might even kick you out!! (oh my!!)

Here are some great IM forums to get y’all started….and be good when you get there!!
