I really wanted to have a really cool post since my very good friend Maddi over at www.maddiction.com has sent his readers over here for a visit, but….I was looking at my blog and realized my posts weren’t showing up!

So I had to fix it NOW!!

Some of my posts didn’t have their images, some of them had some extra HTML stuff in there and weren’t showing up at all and last week was the all-hell-broke-loose week and my whole blog was overtaken by my new squeeze page and I had to figure that out!! It was the index file.  Index means first page, no? ( I am so gonna learn this stuff if it KILLS ME!!!)

Who woulda thunk a blog has so many things that can go crazy??

It used to be something so simple like I would try to center something and not have the close tag on there and the whole blog was centered. Or bold! Have you even seen a blog and it gets bold and stays that way???? Those were some crazy days!! HELP!!

A little of what I have been doing this week besides my usual social butterfly-ness…..although I did meet some really cool folks!!!

Signed up for Onlywire , we’ll see how that goes. It’s that little bookmark and share icon thingy after all the posts. Y’all can share my posts everywhere!! Hopefully that will generate some traffic!

I went through Dean Holland and Adam Spiel’s Turbo Traffic System to see if it’s something I will promote and yes, it is and it ROCKS!! If you are into niche websites, it is something you should look at!!

Speaking of niche websites…. I started setting up my new niche site for iPhone and Androids. Also got a really awesome quote on making my site mobile friendly so when y’all can check me out on the mobile phone…I will let you know!

Got a free trial version of Market Samurai, going to have to get the full version! It does all kinds of research for me that I have been doing myself!! No wonder I don’t have any time! (Maybe I need to learn to outsource!!)

Signed up for a blog traffic getting site and all I got was a virus. Not gonna do THAT any more! DUH!

Also got set up on the Google Webmaster Tools which is how I found out my blog was acting up!

And then I set up a Blogger blog for traffic generation purposes so I will have to get that going soon.

This was all after working all day and taking care of 6 kids! Used to be 5, now we have a grand baby!!

Oh and also got a chewing from my mentor John Thornhill, but it’s all good…..I needed it!!

A little info on what’s happening in Tommy Mclaughlins Masterclass. First of all…I am having a BLAST!!
Tommy is so thorough and he leaves nothing out!! The coolest being that he tells everything he knows! We have gone over blog set up, Profit funnels and on to traffic!

You can have the coolest blog or website and if you don’t get any traffic to it, it kind of defeats the purpose of having a really cool site!

There are so many IM’ers who are so skanky and in their business for themselves only and they bombard you with emails that are selling crap and it just gets crazy!! Tommy is not like that. When he told me he was having a class, I jumped right in! The way he does things, whether it be sending emails, chatting on Skype, or walking a newbie through step by step set up of a blog or website is amazing!

I took to Tommy the minute I met him and I thought… this guy is for real. AND he has a wonderful accent!! (Hmmm……maybe I am the one with the accent??)

Alrighty then…. Back to class….

Week 1 was setting up blogs. I learned how to do that last year with Tommy’s wonderful help and Dean Holland’s Starting with Marketing class. BUT…and that is a very big BUT…he has shown me so much more of what I DIDN’T learn! Things like WP Blog Dashboard management (didn’t even know that exists!) Adsense themes (another one I didn’t know existed)

Week 2 was a big surprise! Tommy got us all set up on our profit funnels and how to get started making some money. A little techy for me, but like I said…he goes over EVERYTHING!! Step by step! For non techys like me! He is truly dedicated to getting folks up and running! AND his wife just had a baby! How’s that for dedication?

Week 3 I am very excited about…it’s all about traffic and we are having a contest and whoever gets the most traffic gets a truly awesome prize!! Hopefully that’s gonna be me!! (With your help! YAY!)

SEND ME TRAFFIC!!

I actually got a little behind in class, had a family emergency for a few days, but Tommy graciously offered to help me get caught up! Now with almost a hundred people in this class….that is an amazing offer!! Yay! Tommy!!

I feel sorry for the folks who didn’t see the value of this class, or if you wanted to get in and didn’t. Y’all missed out! Hopefully, he will have it again and everyone who wants to get started online can get in and reap the wonderful rewards of his knowledge and expertise!

I am very glad I did!

Ever talk to someone or read what they write and it makes you want to do better?  I have.  I really want to be better. Online, offline, better for me, better for you, just all around a better person. Not that I wasn’t good in the first place, I just want to be better. Not just do better but BE better.

I have thought about it for a while now and it makes me want to erase everything and start over, because I CAN do better.

Crazy, huh?

I have been online for a year now, I know because my domain name expired last week and I freaked out.

I have tried other people’s ways and different things; I have learned a lot and made some really awesome, amazing friends.

But someone else’s way of doing things are not my ways. I don’t want to be like everyone else. I want to be like me!

So here I am.
