JV Giveaways, ad-swaps, opt-ins, we’ve heard it all the time! The money is in the list!! Well, yes, and no…if your list is non-responsive, then…..well you’re gonna have to go out and get a real job! What good is having a list of 5000 when the click through rate is nada??
Giveaway’s are for list building. You give away a free report or ebook in exchange for a persons email address. And your list grows!
Ad-swaps  are JV partners that mail freebies and reports to each others lists, and they opt in and your list grows!!
These folks who are opting into your list from Giveaways and Adswaps might be used to the freebies, so when you send out a mailing of the coolest hottest new product…..they aren’t interested! Some of them may be. Most of them probably aren’t!
Now don’t get me wrong, I love Giveaway events, especially when Paul Teague puts them on, but really are these subscribers real customers or just freebie seekers??

Freebie seekers are not a bad thing, they can bridge the gap in your mailing list.
But don’t you want real double opt in list with customers and subscribers that really want what you have to offer?

Then you need to make an awesome, never-before-seen over-the-top product OF YOUR OWN! When that person buys your awesome, never-before-seen over-the-top product, then they are your customer and probably will be for life!!
Now I am not talking trash on the freebies..I like a good free ebook like everyone else! In fact I have quite a few!

People who have bought from you before and were happy with your product because YOU OVER DELIVERED will more than likely buy from you again! It’s that simple.

Now when you make your awesome, never-before-seen over-the-top product, you can talk with some JV partners (in the same niche as you are) that have a big mailing list, because they have awesome,never-before-seen over-the-top products and offer them affiliate commissions to promote your awesome, never-before-seen over-the-top product to their list. Then you will grow your uber responsive mailing list!

Once you have that mailing list, you can send them free reports and info and helpful things to build a relationship with them and keep them wanting more of what you have to offer!
So that’s where I am headed. I am going to make my own awesome, never-before-seen over-the-top product, and with John Thornhills help…it’s gonna ROCK!!
So although we all know the money is in the list, maybe we better slow down a minute and make sure that list is for life!

WHEW! we are already starting week 12 of the masterclass!! 12 weeks…thats 3 months!! Woah!
For the past 3 weeks we have been looking up niches and researching our particular niche. There is so much I want to do I have been having a rough time finding one!
There are so many ways to find a profitable niche. Ya think I would have found one by now! But, I don’t want just any ole niche. I want the coolest and most serving niche there is! THAT’S why I have been having a hard time.
So I have it narrowed down to 2 of my passions…blogging (helping new bloggers) and…going green! Saving our planet and reusing what we have!
I have a few friends who blog and don’t know anything about setting up a blog or updating it to make it very personal and unique. So they just use the regular blogs like blogger.com and wordpress.com. These folks really want to get started with their own domain and brand. There are a lot of Internet Marketers who do the blogging and set up, but I really want to show people who are not in the IM niche how they can make a blog and blog about THEIR passion. Like beauty, or shoes, movies, dogs or maybe even baseball…anything they just want to tell the world about!

I also have a passion for our planet and the way we live. Like reusing things and solar energy. Did you know the sun can make more energy in a day than we can in a lifetime? We just need to know how to channel the suns energy for good use.
I am in the process of making a solar heater for our new pool. Cool. Pool.
Next up is some solar power to run our appliances.

After all this Baby excitement, I finally got a second to sit down! =) This little guy is awesome! Such a great baby and Mama is doing wonderful!!

We had our very first Masterclass webinar Sunday and you know what?? John Thornhill is very cool! A regular guy! He had Dave Nicholson and Paula Brett with him to help out in case he needed it. Dave is such a great guy! And Paula…she’s the BEST!! She is our support desk and I ask all kinds of questions and girlfriend knows what’s she is doing!! And so gracious and patient! Thank you Paula!

We talked about where the class is headed and some SEO stuff and Dave Nicolson’s Total Web Traffic. That Dave…he has a ton of cool stuff! And he’s always thinking of us baby marketers! I know…I went through his link and got all his bonuses! That’s a series of blog posts in itself!!

All three of them are very smart when it comes to marketing, traffic and building blogs! I am so lucky to be in this class!

This week I am going to go through all the info that Dave has so generously given us in his Total Web Traffic and see how to get traffic to my blog and my sites. This should be cool! The site has TONS of info!

We also got a Widlink Widget. You can see it over to the right. It says Masterclass Blogs on it. It’s very cool, it changes every time you refresh the page so if you want to go blog hopping, you get fresh blogs every time! Cool.

Speaking of blogs, I have been checking out the blogs on the Masterclass Blogs List and there are some pretty cool people in this class with me! Their blogs are about a ton of different stuff! Weight loss, Positive thinking, Internet Marketing, Guitar lessons, Ebay…all kinds of cool stuff! FUN!

I am going to be real happy to finally meet them in the Masterclass forum!! Can’t wait for that! I hear that forum ROCKS!!
