Finding a Passionate Niche
WHEW! we are already starting week 12 of the masterclass!! 12 weeks…thats 3 months!! Woah!
For the past 3 weeks we have been looking up niches and researching our particular niche. There is so much I want to do I have been having a rough time finding one!
There are so many ways to find a profitable niche. Ya think I would have found one by now! But, I don’t want just any ole niche. I want the coolest and most serving niche there is! THAT’S why I have been having a hard time.
So I have it narrowed down to 2 of my passions…blogging (helping new bloggers) and…going green! Saving our planet and reusing what we have!
I have a few friends who blog and don’t know anything about setting up a blog or updating it to make it very personal and unique. So they just use the regular blogs like blogger.com and wordpress.com. These folks really want to get started with their own domain and brand. There are a lot of Internet Marketers who do the blogging and set up, but I really want to show people who are not in the IM niche how they can make a blog and blog about THEIR passion. Like beauty, or shoes, movies, dogs or maybe even baseball…anything they just want to tell the world about!
I also have a passion for our planet and the way we live. Like reusing things and solar energy. Did you know the sun can make more energy in a day than we can in a lifetime? We just need to know how to channel the suns energy for good use.
I am in the process of making a solar heater for our new pool. Cool. Pool.
Next up is some solar power to run our appliances.
What have you done to realize your passion? Are you having a problem finding your niche in this great planet we call home?

3 months woah boy time does fly doesn’t it.
I think both these niches are awesome and I personally think you should start with the second one. Although these both have less competition in the online world compared to other well known ‘saturated’ niches but these 2 are great, A: cos they have a lot of prospects with less competition and B: cos you are passionate about both.
Let us know which one you choose in the end and also what kind of products will you be looking at? ebooks or maybe videos?
Just make sure you don’t start working on both simultaneously cos although it may look like you can handle the workload on the surface but trust me it aint that easy. I tried and I am struggling to keep up.

Best of luck in your niche selection. Truly great causes. Thanks for the comment of my post. I see in the comment above that the call you were referring to was a call with John Thornhill. I’d like to hear that call so I could judge for myself. I have heard other marketers comment on the subject such as Jim Cockrum, and he suggests building a list before anything. Then win future customers over by honesty and good content. Who really knows though, both are pretty successful.
Hi Shawn, Thanks for stopping by! I have also listened to Jim and he has a different way of marketing. He can make money building a responsive list with no website at all! @Kerie…Being green is a passion of mine! We have to save the Earth! I am so adamant about just doing small things like planting your own garden and recycling everything! If we re-use something and it doesn’t have to be bought at the store…think of the savings, not only for our wallet, but for the Earth and all God’s creation!

Its a great niche to go into, especially something you are interested in. And just by chance tomorrow I am off to conference about Alternative living, creating eco villages in the UK. I have always wanted to build my own eco home, but land in the UK is so limited. So the chance to meet like minded people that work together to achieve a greener future could not be turned down.
