Outspoken and Real
Ever talk to someone or read what they write and it makes you want to do better? I have. I really want to be better. Online, offline, better for me, better for you, just all around a better person. Not that I wasn’t good in the first place, I just want to be better. Not just do better but BE better.
I have thought about it for a while now and it makes me want to erase everything and start over, because I CAN do better.
Crazy, huh?
I have been online for a year now, I know because my domain name expired last week and I freaked out.
I have tried other people’s ways and different things; I have learned a lot and made some really awesome, amazing friends.
But someone else’s way of doing things are not my ways. I don’t want to be like everyone else. I want to be like me!
So here I am.
Me.
Very outspoken and very real.
Cool.

Lisa… are you for real? Just kidding. I always thought that you were real. You are very cool and I know that you can and will make everything you learn your own.
Blog looks great by the way. Oh, and one last thing. Don’t start things tomorrow. Anthony Robbins says that the most important time to start is NOW. Harness the power of now, this moment. You can do it, just do it NOW.
All the best Skinny,
Ed
Definitely my own, Ed! with all the “y’all’s” and “cool’s” I can come up with!
I just DON’T want to be like everyone else! I don’t want to send 4 emails a day selling crap that people don’t want or need! I don’t want to promote “the next shiny new toy”! I see so many people that I have met just sending me emails after email about crap that I don’t want and I just want to tell them to STOP! Don’t be like that! Take better care of the people you meet!
I DO want to be better. And I DO want to help folks in anyway I can. I guess Anthony Robbins is right most of the time, so I reckon NOW is MY time.
Wish me luck!!

Oh, and holler if you need anything! =)
Hi Lisa

Thanks for stopping by Collette,
I really thought abut this blog post before I posted it. I realized by talking to a friend that I am doing things that are not me and not working for me! DUH!! had to get my head back into the game!
So here I am!
Glad to get to know you too! Not too many gals in this IM game and very cool to have a wonderful female on my side!! =)
Take care!

Hey Lisa,
Short but interesting post there. Its good that you are inspired by someone. I personally believe that being yourself is the Best one can do, not only does it remove any misconceptions but gives an insight into how one is actually like in real life.
The internet is getting crowded with so many people claiming to be gurus and experts and its hard sort out the real from the rest. The best would be, Be Real, Be Authentic and Be transparent.
I’m sure people reading your blog will then relate to you on a much deeper level then others.
All the Best.
Maddi M
Finally got a chance to reply to y’all!! Been a really busy, busy week!!
@Maddi Funny how you said “Short but interesting post there” I don’t like long posts! Does anyone? Anyway, I have seen how some ‘gurus’ just email and email and I even respond to some of the emails, and they don’t write back, no answer, like having subscriber means nothing to them! How many blogs have you seen where the blog owner doesn’t even reply? Not cool in my book! Just wanna be me! Replying and all! To posts AND emails. Very cool.
@Jacinta I’m here….I’m me!! and yes, we do need a ton more ladies in IM. It seems like all the gurus are MEN! Ugh!!
@ Gert I am off to see your post you are talking about. Happy to be who I am. Even when I have to get up at 4 am to do it!! =)
@Marcus Hey Marcus!! Glad you stopped by!! I see you are making things happen in a big way!! Cheers to you! YAY Marcus!!
@ Robin You are so right! We can take advice, but we don’t have to use it! Especially if it doesn’t go along with who we are and what we believe! sometimes I get too much advice and get info overload! Gotta stop that!!
Thank you all for stopping by and taking the time to comment! I really appreciate it and next time I won’t take so long to write back!!
Have fun and God bless!!
Lisa~
Hi Lisa,
Great post! It is good to be you and definitely don’t be anyone else!!
I think eventually people will be able to get a feel and how people really are and I have always had a policy that you can not please everyone!
Completely agree with you on not enough women online. We need some more!!
Hope everything is going well with the course.
See you back here soon!
Jacinta

Hi Lisa,
Great post. You should be very proud of being you.
You are doing a great job at being you so why change. Too many people try and be someone else and can’t see the benefits of just being themselves.
It is great to get advise and help from people but we must all be individuals and work towards our own goals and achievements.
Love your blog, it looks great.
Take care.

Hey Lisa
I prefer people that tell it how it is. Have you been getting lessons off Sally (lol).
There’s nothing wrong with being outspoken and honest and I’m sure your readers will thank you for it in the end.
Good luck with the competition and the coaching course and I’ll be back to see how your getting on.
Take care
Dawn Kay
Hello dawn,
Love Sally’s honesty.
Funny you should ask that? I HAVE been getting lessons from Sally (and Maddi!)
Glad you stopped by.
I owe you one!
Lisa~
Better is a magic word for me. My sister-affectionately-calls me an accomplishment junkie. If I don’t do better everyday or accomplish something new each day, I feel like I’m wasting my time on this planet. With each accomplishment, I have to ask “how can I do it better next time?”
Thats what life is about. Growing and doing better.
Hi Ralph,
Thanks for stopping by! I like that…how can I do better next time?
Good~Better~Best….Best is all we can do.
Oh, and time on this planet is never wasted! We are where we are supposed to be at any given moment! If we were supposed to be or do something else…we would!!
Take care and thanks again!!
Lisa~
